I strongly believe that the iPad is another great product from Apple. I have heard many discussions surrounded the new iPad. One suggested that the iPad is simply an iPhone on steroids, as the iPad does exactly what the iPhone does, just bigger! The iPad basically is everything the iPhone does, combined with the capabilities of a laptop and you got a powerful machine. The iPad is light weight and slim, with up to ten hours of battery life, making it mobile to take around. I think that if apple plays this right, then they can take a huge chuck out of the magazine and news business, by making reading on this device more accessible and easier to read on the new LED screen.
To call it a product that is revolutionary is a good call. Apple does a good job in brand marketing as they know the economy is not exactly back to par, but they simply went against all odds and had a very surprising price that seemed pretty affordable. The emphasis on the cheap price for this new product, simply sets a stage for even a bigger audience, since more can afford it, as it is more affordable than the iPhone itself. The iPad does not really have any new gadgets other than its new iBook store, it is basically a new way to carry around one's life, pretty much.
